Welcome to Colorado Mindful Therapy! I'm Lindsay Pruitt, and I am thrilled to embark on this journey of healing and self-discovery with you.


About Me


As a therapist, my passion lies in assisting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate the twists and turns that life throws their way. Whether you are a teen on the quest to find your identity or a young adult seeking direction in life, I am here to offer my support. My focus encompasses individuals dealing with borderline personality disorder (BPD), survivors of narcissistic abuse, as well as families undergoing divorce or transitioning into post-divorce life. Additionally, I lend a listening ear to blended families and couples striving to find common ground.


Therapeutic Modalities


In my practice, I believe in tailoring therapeutic approaches to suit the unique needs of each individual. Two foundational tools in my toolbox are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). CBT allows us to unravel and reframe negative thought patterns, enabling you to experience personal growth and transformation. On the other hand, DBT brings together cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices to better manage emotions and enhance interpersonal relationships. These evidence-based methods provide a solid framework to address a myriad of challenges.


Art Expression Therapy


In addition to traditional therapeutic techniques, I incorporate art expression therapy as a means for clients to explore and communicate their emotions creatively. Art provides a safe space for self-expression, promoting healing and introspection.
